Tony Kossmann, Hudson Valley’s department chairperson for Automotive, Manufacturing and Electrical Technologies, and Dan Capuano, assistant professor of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, both serve on the board of the Altamont Library and were instrumental in moving the library into the renovated 1897 Altamont Train Station. The two also advocated for the installation of solar panels on the library’s new home.
